Food Donation for Disabled Sisters

Recently four sisters in the Mariano Melgar district of Arequipa were brought to our attention. Two of the girls are completely bedridden due to their physical disabilities. Their sisters are also disabled, but use wheelchairs for mobility. Since the death of their mother a few months ago, all four are dependent on their father for care. The family lives in extreme poverty in a one-room home on a hillside in a "pueblo joven" overlooking Arequipa. Our volunteers visited the sisters and delivered a donation of food and hygienic supplies.
